About This Role The Registered Nurse in the Med/Surg/Tele Float Pool at Hackensack Meridian Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and ensuring effective communication with patients and healthcare teams. Highlights Location: Neptune, NJ Facility: Jersey Shore University Medical Center Schedule: Full-time, Day shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation. Perform age and disease specific assessment/data collection independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions. Formulate age and disease specific patient/family centered goals/outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team. Implement age and disease specific care in an organized manner. Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation of patient assessments.
