Description - What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct routine and advanced laboratory tests across various disciplines including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more, all in compliance with established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with sample collection and prepare specimens for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, train new team members or students, and help maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while adhering to regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or comparable allied health degree along with ASCP/AMT certification prerequisites.

Certifications

• Must obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hiring.
• Maintain current certifications for the duration of employment.
