Description – Your Role and Responsibilities

• Evaluate test results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples adequately for analysis as required.
• Accurately document all laboratory processes, mentor new staff or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health qualification, along with ASCP/AMT certification training.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within the first year of employment.
• Maintain valid certification throughout the duration of employment.
