Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various others—following established protocols.
• Examine results for precision, address any discrepancies promptly, and handle preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing whenever required.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all processes, mentor new staff or students, while helping to uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a safe, tidy workplace and adhere to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification while preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your tenure.
