Your Role - What You Will Contribute

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morewhile adhering to established protocols.
• Carefully evaluate lab results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure that lab instruments undergo necessary preventative maintenance and calibration.
• Participate in specimen collection processes and prepare samples for testing when required.
• Document all lab procedures in detail, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Maintain a pristine and safe work environment while following regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree coupled with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is expected to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continued maintenance of certification throughout your tenure.
