Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make an impact supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade in a welcoming educational environment near Chicago, IL. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking part-time in-person work, with a manageable caseload and a meaningful schedule.

You’ll work with a group of approximately 30 students, contributing your expertise to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Your work will span the school year, running from August 19th to June 3rd, following a consistent in-person schedule from 8 AM to 3 PM.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed or certified School Psychologist credentials (valid for Illinois)
• Background in providing psychological services to school-age children, Pre-K through middle school
• Proficiency in administering assessments, developing IEPs, and collaborating with educators and families
• Strong communication and organization skills
• A warm, professional demeanor and a passion for student advocacy

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments for students on your caseload
• Partner with teachers and staff to design and implement effective educational strategies
• Develop and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and team members
• Deliver counseling and behavioral interventions as appropriate
• Maintain confidential records and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
