Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students’ growth and well-being as a School Psychologist on a contract basis in the Oak Lawn area near Chicago, IL. This engaging position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm. Collaborate closely with a dedicated educational team to ensure students receive the psychological and academic support they need to succeed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and participating in IEP meetings preferred
• Strong understanding of state and federal special education regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to organize and manage a caseload across multiple settings or grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students as part of the special education process
• Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings by sharing assessment results and collaborating on educational plans
• Provide direct and indirect support to students, including counseling and consultation, as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to identify strategies that promote student success
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
