RestoPros of Plymouth-Barnstable is looking for an experienced Lead Water Mitigation Technician / Crew Chief to join our growing local restoration company.

This is a full-time field position for someone who already understands water mitigation and is ready to take ownership of jobs in the field — assessing losses, developing drying plans, directing technicians, communicating with homeowners, documenting work properly, and seeing projects through from initial response to completion.

We specialize in water damage mitigation, structural drying, mold remediation, smoke and odor restoration, and selective demolition for residential and commercial properties throughout Cape Cod, Plymouth County, and the South Shore.

We're a smaller, growing operation, which means the right person will have significant responsibility, direct access to ownership, and the opportunity to grow into a larger operations or management role as the company expands.

What You'll Do

• Respond to residential and commercial water damage emergencies
• Assess affected areas and identify moisture migration
• Develop and execute appropriate mitigation and structural drying plans
• Perform water extraction and selective demolition
• Set, monitor, adjust, and remove drying equipment
• Perform moisture mapping and document drying progress
• Lead and work alongside technicians and helpers in the field
• Perform mold remediation and containment work
• Maintain accurate job documentation, photos, notes, and equipment records
• Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners, property managers, plumbers, and other referral partners
• Keep company vehicles, equipment, and job sites clean and organized
• Help train less-experienced technicians as the team grows
• Participate in a rotating after-hours/on-call schedule

What We're Looking For

• Previous water mitigation/restoration experience required
• Ability to independently manage a residential water loss in the field
• Working knowledge of moisture meters, extraction equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and structural drying
• Experience with demolition and removal of water-damaged materials
• IICRC WRT certification strongly preferred
• Additional IICRC certifications are a plus
• Experience with mold remediation is a plus
• Strong customer communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable making sound field decisions without constant supervision
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in crawlspaces, attics, basements, and other challenging environments
• Dependable and willing to participate in emergency/after-hours response

Compensation

• $28–$35/hour depending on restoration experience and certifications
