Bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) – Urology Location: Tucson, Arizona Practice: Santa Cruz Urology Care Clinic Position Type: Full-Time About Us Santa Cruz Urology Care Clinic is a growing, patient-centered urology practice dedicated to providing exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment. We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering excellent clinical and customer service support. Responsibilities Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment Clean instruments and equipment after use Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists Prepare patients for examinations and office procedures Assist providers with patient care and in-office procedures Perform catheter care, specimen collection, and other clinical duties as directed Manage patient phone calls, messages, referrals, and prior authorizations Manage urology surgery scheduling Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (AdvancedMD) Coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments Ensure exam rooms and clinical areas are clean, stocked, and organized Qualifications Medical Assistant certification preferred Previous experience in a medical office preferred Urology experience is a plus but not required Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude BLS Certification preferred Fluency in both English and Spanish strongly preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off 401(k) Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Stable Monday–Friday schedule with excellent work‑life balance Why Join Santa Cruz Urology Care Clinic?
