About the Role MERGE is looking for a cutting-edge, culture-fluent Social & Content Manager to own our brand’s voice in social. You are the person who knows what’s good, what’s next, and what will land — translating agency news, client wins, and thought leadership into content people actually stop for. LinkedIn and Instagram are your primary stages, and you own them: the strategy, the calendar, the community, and the craft. This is an owner's role. You're scrappy, autonomous, and resourceful — someone who takes the reins and runs — with the enterprise-level instincts to build a real system: a social plan, templates that let us move fast, and the judgment to know when something deserves the full weight of our creative team. You set the voice, you protect it, and you make MERGE feel unmistakably human and unmistakably us in every feed we show up in. What You’ll Do Own the Voice & the Plan Own the social strategy: Set the strategic direction and end-to-end execution for MERGE’s corporate social — primarily LinkedIn and Instagram — building the plan that elevates our brand position across our core themes and audiences. Build the system: Develop the content calendar, templates, and repeatable formats that let a lean team ship consistently — mapped to agency priorities, client announcements, major events, and thought leadership. Be the brand’s voice: Own a cohesive, distinctly human social voice — writing captions and content that feel authored, never automated, and never generic. You use modern tools to move faster, but the work always sounds like a person, and always like MERGE. Create & Elevate the Content Make the work: Create and publish platform-native content day to day — writing, designing, and editing in-platform — with the taste to know what earns a save, a share, or a comment versus what scrolls by. Partner on the big swings: Work with our creative and design teams on higher-production initiatives — video, campaigns, brand moments — knowing when to move solo and when a moment deserves the full team.
