The Accounts Receivable Specialist plays a crucial role in managing billing claims and collections to ensure smooth financial operations. This position supports a medium-sized team and reports directly to the Billing Supervisor. The specialist handles billing, recordkeeping, and collections with a focus on interactions between patients and payers. Responsibilities Oversee accurate and timely processing of billing claims for home care services Maintain billing records ensuring data integrity and confidentiality Manage collections for outstanding balances and resolve billing discrepancies Work closely with insurance companies, patients, and payers to address payment issues Ensure compliance with industry regulations, payer requirements, and billing standards Collaborate with the billing team and report to the Billing Supervisor Utilize billing software and Microsoft Office Suite to maintain efficient workflows Required Qualifications Proven experience in home care or hospital billing and collections Strong understanding of medical billing codes, payer regulations, and reimbursement processes Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing sensitive client and insurance interactions Proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite Associate's degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred This role is not remote or hybrid; on-site work required Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in medical billing and collections Strong interpersonal skills Unlimited Care, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
