PositionSummary WeareseekinganexperiencedSeniorAccountsPayableSpecialisttoownfull-cycle,job-costaccountspayableend-to-endinahigh-volumeconstructionenvironment.WorkingprimarilyinSageIntacctandSageConstructionManagement,youwillensurevendorandsubcontractorinvoicesareaccuratelycoded,properlyapproved,compliant,andpaidontime—andyouwillhelpbuildthecontrolsandprocessesthatletourAPfunctionscaleasthecompanygrows. KeyResponsibilities Ownfull-cycleaccountspayableend-to-endforahigh-volume,multi-branchconstructionoperation. Performthree-waymatchingofinvoicestopurchaseorders,subcontractcommitments,andreceiptswithinSageIntacctandSageConstructionManagement. Accuratelycodeinvoicestojobs,phases,andcostcodes;partnerwithprojectmanagerstoresolvediscrepanciesandkeepjobcostsclean. Ownsubcontractorcompliancebeforereleasingpayment—lienwaivers,retainage,certificatesofinsurance(COIs),andW-9s. Manageweeklycheckruns,ACH,andcreditcardpayments;ownvendorrelationshipsandresolveinquiriespromptly. Maintainthevendormasterfileandprepare/fileannual1099s. OwntheAPsideofmonth-endclose—accruals,open-payablesreconciliation,andaccountanalysis. Applythecorrectproject-specificsales-taxexemptionandresalecertificatestovendorpurchases;flagtaxablevs.exemptspendandsupportuse-taxaccrual. ServeastheAPsubject-matterexpert:document,standardize,andimproveAPprocessessotheyscalewithoutaddingheadcount,andmentorjuniorAPstaffastheteamgrows. SupportcompanycreditcardandexpensecodingandreconciliationinpartnershipwiththeStaffAccountant. Qualifications 5+ yearsofaccountspayableexperience,includingconstruction,engineering,oranotherproject-based,job-costenvironment. SageIntacctexperiencerequired;experiencewithSageConstructionManagementaplus.CandidateswithdeepexperienceonacomparableconstructionERP(Sage300CRE,Viewpoint/Vista,Foundation,Procore)whocanrampquicklyonIntacctwillbeconsidered. Strongcommandofjob-costaccounting,POs/commitments,retainage,andlien-waiverandCOIcompliance. Provenabilitytoownahigh-volumeAPfunctionautonomouslywithahighdegreeofaccuracy. AdvancedExcelskillsandclearcommunicationacrossfieldandofficeteams. Associate'sorBachelor'sdegreeinAccountingorFinanceaplus;equivalenthands-onexperienceconsidered.
