As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a manufacturing and industrial location.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to the facility, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
