Speech Language Pathologist (Bilingual)

Hourly Rate: $68.00 $72.00 per hour

Location: Roselle, Illinois Onsite

Position Summary: We are partnering with an Illinois school program to hire full-time Bilingual Speech Language Pathologists for the 20262027 school year. Openings include Bilingual (Spanish-English) students across the district. The Speech Language Pathologist will provide direct and consultative speech and language services in a collaborative, student-centered educational environment.

Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: MondayFriday following school calendar and building schedule
• Hours per week: 35 hours
• Contract length: 20262027 school year

Key Duties:

• Provide speech and language screenings, assessments, treatment, and progress reporting for students
• Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and educational standards
• Plan, attend, and present at IEP meetings and student conferences in collaboration with school staff
• Support district-wide student needs as part of a collaborative therapy team
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by school administration

Requirements

Education

• Required: Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech Language Endorsement
• Required: Illinois State License through IDFPR
• Required for Bilingual positions: Spanish-English bilingual proficiency
• Preferred: Prior school-based experience

Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively within a student-centered educational environment
• Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
• Knowledge of IEP development and school-based therapy services
• Ability to manage caseloads and support diverse student populations
