What You Bring:

• Active Michigan Special Education License (verification required at the Michigan Department of Education)
• Experience teaching students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, preferably at the high school level
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal communication skills
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a team-oriented approach within school settings

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students in ASD classrooms
• Develop and uphold IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Create a structured, supportive learning environment that cultivates academic and social-emotional growth
• Assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Foster positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
