Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education (MN SPED) teaching license required
• Experience or strong interest in working with students with diverse learning needs
• Flexible, adaptable, and passionate about supporting student achievement
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting
• Strong communication skills with staff, students, and families
• Willingness to learn and implement new instructional strategies
• Familiarity with IEP development and compliance a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and accommodations tailored to individual student needs
• Develop, write, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure inclusive practices
• Engage with families to foster partnerships and support positive student outcomes
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and student records
• Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions

This assignment is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with the opportunity to begin as soon as possible through June 2027. Candidate caseloads will be determined in collaboration with school staff to ensure a balanced and manageable workload. Interviews will be conducted virtually to accommodate your schedule.
