This contract position runs from ASAP until late May of 2027, offering experience across a variety of school environments, including elementary, middle, and high school settings—serving a diverse PreK-12 student population.

In this dynamic, itinerant role, you'll provide on-site speech-language services at multiple school sites, from traditional elementary campuses to specialized centers catering to students with more severe needs. Each day brings fresh challenges and the chance to apply your developing expertise while collaborating with seasoned professionals and multidisciplinary teams.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Current, active FL DOH SLP Licensure
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as assigned
• Commitment to school-based, on-site service (teletherapy not available for this role)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Must complete or verify recent fingerprint clearance for Florida schools through the AHCA Clearinghouse process, which may require updated prints and a JLA badge

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 60 students (final numbers may vary) with mild to moderate needs
• Serve PreK-12 students, adapting intervention plans to their unique profiles
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support personnel
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students
