Digital Mock-Up Analytics and Tools Engineer II

Responsibilities Lead and facilitate large cross‑functional DMU/project meetings to drive alignment, track progress and ensure timely resolution of open issues with engineering teams, PVE, EPM and Quality teams. Perform vehicle packaging studies and feasibility analyses to support concept and early design phases. Develop and continuously improve DMU processes, reports, tools, and workflows. Create and manage component envelopes (e.g., tire, engine) to validate requirements. Coordinate clash and clearance analysis to identify and mitigate design conflicts. Support concept development and design validation through virtual modeling. Report and communicate design issues, DMU BOMs, Shopcalls and resolution status. Provide virtual vehicle layouts and visualization for engineering decision‑making, design reviews and sales/customer support initiatives. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience in automotive engineering. Experience with 3D CAD tool NX. Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools: PowerBI, Tableau and SQL. Proficiency with programming macros in VBA language. Ability to conduct automotive design reviews. Solid understanding of engineering and upstream and downstream processes required. Ability to work on‑site at least four days per week. #J-18808-Ljbffr Jobtailor
