About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of inpatient nursing experience required. - 6 months of travel nurse experience required. - Telemetry experience required. - Med Surg Telemetry experience required. License: - Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district is required. - BSN is highly desired. Certifications: - NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS required. - Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course is required. Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program is required. - Cerner EMR experience required. Description: The role requires delivering patient care in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. The nurse must apply knowledge of growth and development over the life span to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstration of the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients' needs is essential. The nurse will make an initial assessment and determine the appropriate nursing needs of assigned patients, as evidenced by appropriate documentation. Completing initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including a review of systems, is necessary. The nurse must complete admission assessments within the established time frame, according to policy and procedures.
