About This Role
We're seeking a dynamic and caring Preschool Teacher to join our team, providing a nurturing environment that promotes children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
What You'll Do- Implement engaging daily activities and lesson plans tailored to the needs of preschool-age children
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, adhering to staff-to-child ratios
- Guide children's behavior through positive reinforcement and redirection
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that fosters a sense of community
- Prepare and submit required documentation, incident reports, and lesson plans
- Build strong relationships with families through open and effective communication
- Comply with childcare regulations, safety protocols, and health standards
- Contribute to a positive team environment through collaborative efforts
- Background check clearance per state childcare regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience working with preschool-age children preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience with lesson planning and classroom routines
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
- Previous experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- ECD 101 (Introduction to Early Childhood Education)
