About the Role

The Company is in search of a strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's operational growth and maturity. The COO will be the CEO's primary strategic and operational counterpart, with a focus on overseeing finance, human resources, information technology, facilities, and multi-site operations. A key responsibility for the COO will be to enhance the organization's sourcing strategy, aiming to reduce food costs and increase the value of food secured through various channels. The ideal candidate for this mission-driven environment will be an experienced leader, combining operational excellence with exceptional people leadership, and will be tasked with strengthening systems, structures, and performance standards to support sustainable growth. This executive will be expected to lead all internal operations with full P&L accountability, strengthen financial planning, and reporting, and implement organizational goal-setting and performance systems. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in building and managing high-performing teams, as well as the ability to design and implement operational models that support the organization's expansion. The successful candidate will have senior executive leadership experience in a complex operating environment, strong financial acumen, and a demonstrated ability to lead through growth, operational scaling, and change. Key competencies include high emotional intelligence, cultural competence, strong communication, and the capacity to challenge constructively while maintaining alignment.
