Overview
Registered Nurse - Emergency Room, ER, in Templeton, CA. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment at a short term acute care setting. Earn 1,707–1,846 per week with 36 guaranteed hours each week. Night shift, 3x12-hour nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). This assignment carries the travel - temporary duration and requires active RN licensure in the practicing state and ER nursing competencies.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional nursing care for patients in the emergency department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care; communicate clearly with the health care team; ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
- Administer medications using the six rights and document administration per hospital policy; support discharge planning and patient education.
- Monitor patients for signs of distress (cardiac, respiratory, or other emergencies) and respond promptly; participate in Code Blue and other emergency responses.
- Maintain infection control practices; ensure patient privacy and confidentiality; provide thorough shift handoffs and reports; support a collaborative team environment.
- Utilize the electronic health record (Cerner) for documentation and coding as required; complete assigned quality monitors and participate in unit-based quality initiatives.

Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing; eligible for RN licensure in California.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current California RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (ENPC may meet PALS requirements); NIHSS; Cerner experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.
- Additional: Ability to work the listed night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and participate in a travel assignment; ability to meet any facility-specific credentialing requirements.
- Other: Current certifications and stated competencies must be maintained throughout the assignment.
