Emergency Medicine Physician

Job TitleEmergency Room PhysicianScheduleSign-up schedule. Looking for someone that can work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift times run from 0600-1600, 0800-1800, 1000-2000, 1200-2200, 1600-0200 and 2000-0600.Position TypePersonal Service Contract - Independent Contractor (1099)Pay$193/hr base, $198/hr for nights, weekends, and holidays.ResponsibilitiesConsult with consultants appropriately.Provide medical advice over the telephone.Complete all required paperwork.Diagnose and treat diseases and injuries.Perform medical procedures.Obtain an adequate history, physical, assessment, and plan in a timely and appropriate manner on each patient and develop a treatment plan.Utilize paraprofessional staff as appropriate.Respond to cardiopulmonary arrest as appropriate and arrange appropriate backup from the Emergency Medical Service (EMS).Interpret electrocardiograms.Preliminary to interpret radiographs to include CAT scans Direct medical care through radio communication with an ambulance.QualificationsThe Emergency Room Physician shall have a doctorate degree from an accredited college.The Emergency Room Physician shall possess board certification, or board eligible, in emergency medicine (American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or American Board of Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (ABOEM) only or have successfully completed an accredited emergency medicine residency and applied for board certification in emergency medicine (ABEM or ABOEM only).Physicians shall be current in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).Physicians shall possess board certification in a field other than emergency medicine.Experience: At least 5 years of experience working in the ER.Possess and maintain a current unrestricted license to practice as an Emergency Medicine Physician.Kako'o Services LLCKako'o Services is a premier provider of healthcare workers to various military treatment facilities across the United States.
