Your Role Encompasses

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending diagnostic procedures, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health conditions in conjunction with physicians or autonomously (as permitted by credentials)
• Providing education to patients and families on preventative measures, wellness strategies, and disease management
• Prescribing medicines and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care initiatives
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, cohesive care
• Accurately documenting patient interactions within electronic health records (EHR)

What You Will Need

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Colorado
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or ability to procure these within 90 days
