JOB DESCRIPTION

Join the Norfolk Iron & Metal maintenance team and play a key role in keeping our manufacturing equipment operating safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment.
Responsibilities include:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, forklifts, overhead cranes, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Complete preventive maintenance schedules and accurately document repairs using the company's maintenance ticket tracking system.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend repairs or improvements to increase reliability and productivity.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all company safety procedures and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Complete all maintenance records, inspections, and required documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of hands-on maintenance experience working with industrial manufacturing equipment, heavy machinery, agricultural equipment, or similar production machinery.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools and work around heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Motivated, dependable, and committed to workplace safety.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating and maintaining overhead cranes and industrial forklifts .
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, or electrical systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or maintenance work order software.

Positions available in Brighton and Greeley. Travel may occasionally be required between Greeley, Windsor and Brighton locations.
