DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Operates and maintains a variety of trucks, including pick‑up, two‑axle and three‑axle vehicles, dump trucks, snowplows, flatbed trailers, mowing tractors, and other light equipment. Safely maintains roadways and right‑of‑ways within the Will County Division of Transportation system. High school graduation or equivalency required. Three years in a Maintenance Worker type position or similar background with operating familiarity of department vehicles and equipment used is required. Possession of a valid CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes endorsement required. Lift up to 100 pounds and successfully pass a pre‑employment lifting assessment and a pre‑employment physical.

SALARY RANGE

$57,905 (Starting Compensation) – $82,721 (Top of the pay range) (Step 1‑10)
