Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Boston, MA. Start date 09/07/2026 for 18 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,244–$2,341 per week. Guaranteed hours 48 per week. Shift 12-hour nights, 7:00 pm–7:30 am. This travel - temporary assignment takes place in a high-volume emergency department within a medical setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult and selected pediatric patients (ages 15+) in a fast-paced ED, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and analgesia within scope; manage telemetry monitoring and respond to rhythm changes
- Perform timely documentation in the electronic health record, ensure accurate charting, and uphold infection control and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with ED physicians, fellow nurses, techs, and ancillary staff to manage throughput and patient flow
- Assist with procedures and resuscitation efforts per ED protocols; anticipate needs and escalate when appropriate
- Maintain professional clinical judgment in a high-acuity environment with an established nurse-to-patient ratio (approximately 1:4–5 depending on acuity)

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications active/unexpired
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent Level I/II ED experience and/or 2+ years of recent Level 3/4 ED experience
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips; pass Telemetry Test on Day 1 (85%+)
- Willingness to float to Psych ED and Pediatric ED (care for patients aged 15+ when assigned)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and commit to the 09/07/2026 start through 01/09/2027
