Responsibilities will also include organizing and maintaining curricula in mathematics; developing and revising instructional materials as appropriate; keeping student records; assisting in recommending and orienting part‑time faculty; and working with college councils and committees as assigned. The instructor will maintain a minimum of five office hours per week. Day and evening classes can be expected. Will be required to teach at the satellite campuses as needed. Minimum Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education is required. Candidates who hold a master’s degree in Mathematics will be considered if they have experience teaching Math for Teachers courses and/or experience teaching in K-12 schools. Access to home internet, a personal computer, and telephone is required. Demonstrate skill and willingness to learn and use multiple technology platforms to communicate with students. The successful candidate will have a multicultural perspective with adult/minority students; and have a high energy level along with a strong commitment to the community college philosophy.
