Registered Nurse, Blood And Marrow Transplantation

ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Blood and Marrow Transplantation (Day/Night Rotating Shift) in Seattle, Washington.

Location: Seattle, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift: 3x12-hour shifts, Day/Night Rotating.

Job Description: This position is located in a 30-bed unit specializing in the care of patients undergoing blood and marrow transplantation. The Registered Nurse will provide adult inpatient care in collaboration with the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, participating in meeting the complex care requirements of this patient population. The unit handles a variety of oncology cases, including immunotherapy and hematologic malignancies.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and manage blood products.
• Monitor patients for side effects and manage complications associated with treatment.
• Provide patient/family education and support about treatment plans and care requirements.
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
• Experience in managing patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:5.

Certifications/Licensure:

• Current BLS certification.
• Chemo certification preferred (ONS/ONCC).
