Doctor of Medicine | Gastroenterology Location: Richlands, VA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology Job Description: March 13, 2026 UPDATE: The site has a need for coverage from May 18-22. Please confirm if your provider has availability. The physician will perform procedures in the Endoscopy Suite on Mondays, Wednesdays, half of Thursdays, and Fridays. The physician will see patients in the office on Tuesdays and the other half of Thursdays. Night call is required every night, along with hospital rounds on consult patients. Overtime is calculated after 40 hours per week. Vendors are responsible for obtaining and submitting all necessary pre-hire requirements, including a completed background check and drug screen, to People Services as part of provider onboarding. Medical Staff Services/CVO will conduct separate background screening and credentialing reviews needed for privileging and credentialing. Facilities may impose various administrative, credentialing, or enrollment-related fees as part of their onboarding and approval processes. All such fees are the responsibility of the vendor and must be satisfied to proceed with any assignment.
