MRI Technologist - Weekender Days

Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging to assist in diagnosis, research, or therapy. They independently conduct imaging procedures, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and ensure patient safety and proper data acquisition. Key Duties Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper preparation, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety. Evaluate image quality, verify data storage, and assist in post-processing. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying MRI safety protocols. Assist licensed practitioners with MRI procedures and interventions, select pulse sequences, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Qualifications & Skills Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, ARMRIT, or equivalent required upon hire. New graduates must obtain certification prior to employment. Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program; Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of MRI safety, imaging protocols, and medication administration.
