Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses and develop tailored rehabilitation plans to meet each individual's needs.
• Utilize diverse treatment methods including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and equipment-based modalities to relieve pain and enhance mobility.
• Document treatment progress thoroughly in patient records, tracking responses and updating treatment goals as required.
• Reassess treatment plans regularly, adjusting them based on patient progress and compliance.
• Assist patients in selecting and fitting assistive devices, providing guidance on their usage during daily activities.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on proper therapeutic techniques, self-care strategies, and rehabilitation practices.
• Continuously maintain and upgrade your professional knowledge by attending workshops, seminars, and participating in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from children to seniors, and address a variety of physical therapy needs. Your expertise will be crucial in helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgical rehabilitation, ensuring they achieve their therapeutic goals and ultimately enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of a valid PT state license to practice in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interaction with patients and team members.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other software tools relevant to physical therapy.
• Ability to maintain flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience is preferred, though we welcome applications from new graduates who are eager for mentorship.

Compensation and Benefits
