Work Environment

This position is based onsite, allowing you to engage directly with patients in a comfortable and modern outpatient clinic setting. Working from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, you will enjoy a consistent schedule that allows you to balance professional responsibilities with personal life. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to inform treatment strategies, using evidence-based practices to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain an effective patient caseload, allowing you to devote the necessary time and attention to each client.
• Employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities, to enhance mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients on home programs and rehabilitation techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Provide motivation and encouragement to patients, promoting a positive therapeutic relationship and fostering adherence to treatment plans.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring comprehensive and accurate electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure cohesive and effective patient care.
• Continually evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, based on clinical judgment and patient feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, sports-related conditions, and chronic pain management. You will play a critical role in supporting patients of all ages, from athletes striving to enhance their performance to seniors maintaining their independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active Florida Physical Therapist license with a clean record and no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy techniques, manual therapy, and rehabilitation protocols.
• Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with patients to provide effective care and education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic care and sports medicine settings.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful exercise programs for diverse populations.
• Proficiency in current evidence-based therapies and practices within the field of physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
