Work Environment

This position is based onsite in an outpatient office setting located in the beautiful city of Sarasota, Florida. The work schedule spans Monday to Friday, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, facilitating individualized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and conditions.
• Implement diverse therapeutic methodologies tailored to specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patient populations, ensuring a holistic approach to recovery.
• Provide exemplary customer service and foster a positive patient experience by taking proactive steps to ensure satisfaction and comfort during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, utilizing evidence-based practices and engaging in regular case reviews and team meetings.
• Perform in-clinic and home-based therapeutic interventions that align with the physician's plan of care, actively monitoring progress and adjusting treatment approaches as necessary.
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers on treatment protocols and at-home exercises to ensure continuity of care outside the clinical environment.
• Work diligently to meet utilization goals and contribute positively to overall business objectives, demonstrating fiscal responsibility and commitment to the practice's success.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Lakeland Care Solution, you will encounter a varied patient demographic, ranging from individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries to young patients in need of developmental rehabilitation. Our therapists specialize in personalized care, providing comprehensive treatment programs for neurological conditions and sports injuries, thus ensuring that each patient receives tailored support on their path to recovery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy, with certification as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical outpatient setting is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and the greater community.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
