Key Responsibilities

• Elicit detailed patient histories and perform thorough evaluations to assess physical, functional, and mobility limitations in recovery from injuries, diseases, or surgeries.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as exercise prescription, manual therapy, and advanced rehabilitation equipment.
• Continuously track and document the effectiveness of treatment outcomes, adjusting treatment strategies as needed to meet evolving patient goals and needs.
• Provide education and instruction to patients and their families about therapeutic techniques and use of assistive devices, ensuring optimal carryover of skills outside of therapy sessions.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, including attending workshops and reviewing literature, to remain abreast of advances in physical therapy practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care, integrating feedback from other health professionals focused on the holistic well-being of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be adept at working with a wide range of patients, from pediatric to geriatric populations, each dealing with diverse rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing effective interaction with patients, families, and coworkers.
• Basic computer proficiency for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preferably within rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
