Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and address the specific goals, needs, and functional limitations of each patient.
• Manage a varied caseload, treating an average of one patient per hour to ensure dedicated attention and quality care.
• Implement effective, individualized treatment plans that integrate diverse therapeutic techniques and evidence-based interventions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques to alleviate pain and improve patients' mobility effectively.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's rehabilitation goals while educating them on their role in the recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for complex cases.
• Document patient care services meticulously to track progress, evaluate treatment outcomes, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Encourage and motivate patients to actively participate in their own recovery through personalized support and education.
• Advocate for health promotion and wellness, guiding patients toward healthier lifestyle choices that enhance their physical capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. Our patient demographic is diverse, often including active individuals striving to return to their pre-injury levels of activity. Each patient presents unique challenges, providing a dynamic environment in which to thrive as a clinician.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• An exemplary professional record free of disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, showcasing your ability to perform hands-on interventions.
• Demonstrated expertise in creating and implementing customized exercise protocols.
• Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for efficient documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings with a strong foundation in rehabilitation practices.
• Experience with home care services is a plus, facilitating seamless transitions between treatment environments.

Compensation and Benefits
