Work Environment

This position requires an onsite presence where you will conduct home visits to assess and treat patients in their own living spaces. This approach not only fosters a therapeutic relationship with our patients but also allows for customized treatment plans based on their unique home environments. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to streamline patient care and promote optimal recovery processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients by analyzing their medical histories and current physical conditions, including medical records and reports from prior healthcare providers.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to patient-specific goals, which may include enhancing mobility, building strength, and alleviating discomfort.
• Implement therapeutic exercises and activities to facilitate rehabilitation, focusing on restoring function and improving patients' ranges of motion.
• Administer manual therapy techniques, including but not limited to trigger point therapy and dry needling, to alleviate pain and aid the healing process.
• Educate patients and their families on body mechanics, exercise regimens, and aftercare strategies for continued recovery at home.
• Regularly monitor patients' progress, documenting improvements and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to meet their evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient sessions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at MediPack, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Our patient demographic spans across various age groups, and your ability to provide tailored, thoughtful care will greatly impact their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Must hold a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is required.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations across various stages of recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
