Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Sarasota, known for its inviting atmosphere and modern equipment tailored for physical therapy treatments. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a work-life balance that is essential for sustaining your professional growth and personal well-being. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and limitations.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices, employing therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.

• Regularly track and document patient progress using our electronic health record (EHR) system, adjusting treatment methods as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation protocols, injury prevention techniques, and effective self-care strategies for continued recovery.

• Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, primary care physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills in physical therapy practices and improve patient service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic proudly serves a varied patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with 5-7 patients each day, often overseeing cases that require rehabilitation after joint replacements, sports injuries, and spinal issues. The majority of our patients appreciate a personal touch, as many of them return for follow-up care or referrals. This environment allows you to build meaningful relationships with patients, contributing significantly to their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

• Strong skills in therapeutic modalities, manual techniques, and functional assessments.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient education and engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with electronic health record systems.

• Experience providing care for diverse populations, including athletes and older adults.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
