Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical condition, including evaluating strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Develop personalized treatment strategies utilizing evidence-based practices such as manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercise, and advanced modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to meet changing patient needs and goals.
• Coordinate with physicians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, effective rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise regimens to promote recovery.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending relevant trainings, workshops, and conferences to stay abreast of the latest techniques and innovations in the field.
• Maintain a patient volume of approximately two patients per hour while delivering individualized care to ensure a high standard of patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain syndromes. Our diverse clientele ranges from active adults to older adults seeking to regain independence and mobility. Your role in crafting tailored treatment plans will directly contribute to improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license active in the state of Florida.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Proven clinical competence in both orthopedic and sports medicine settings is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interactions and team collaboration.
• A compassionate and motivating approach to patient care, with a genuine passion for helping individuals regain their functional abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy role.
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Familiarity with various rehabilitation technologies and therapeutic techniques relevant to orthopedic care.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, the comprehensive benefits package includes:
