Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite within our state-of-the-art outpatient facility, designed to optimize patient recovery within a comfortable and welcoming setting. Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities as a Physical Therapist will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations that involve reviewing patient history, performing specific assessments, and interpreting the results to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Effectively communicating assessment findings and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, engaging them in the goal-setting process to foster collaborative care.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the patient's needs and continuously adapting these protocols as the patient's condition evolves.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals across disciplines to consult on complex cases and document any changes in patient status that may require alterations to their treatment plan.
• Completing necessary discharge planning and ensuring timely follow-up care, while meticulously documenting patient progress, treatment modalities, and outcomes in our electronic health record system.
• Maintaining a well-organized schedule, managing time efficiently to meet productivity expectations while remaining flexible to accommodate patient needs.
• Contributing to departmental goals by actively engaging in strategic planning, compliance with regulations, and participation in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
• Pursuing professional development opportunities to enhance your expertise and contribute to the learning culture of the organization.
• Enhancing the patient experience through a customer-centric approach and advocating for their access to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our clinic is dedicated to providing a patient-centered approach that emphasizes personalized care plans, ensuring each individual receives the attention and support they need for optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as required for practice in Florida.
• American Heart Association's BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
