Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Sarasota rehabilitation facility, where you will collaborate with a supportive team of healthcare providers in a dynamic and inspiring environment. Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, ensuring work-life balance in a vibrant and engaging setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient assessments and develop tailored treatments that align with each client's recovery goals.
• Effectively manage a reasonable patient load, dedicating quality time and personalized attention while promoting optimal recovery.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to perform hands-on therapy and educate patients on home exercise programs.
• Implement evidence-based treatment interventions, including various manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises, that foster recovery and mobility enhancement.
• Monitor patients' progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, ensuring the delivery of optimal care.
• Motivate patients during their rehabilitation journey and advocate for a healthy lifestyle that includes strength, flexibility, and balance training.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Keep detailed and accurate records of patient treatment plans and outcomes utilizing EMR systems, such as WebPT, for effective documentation.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying current with emerging physical therapy techniques and advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient clients, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to older adults working on mobility and strength post-surgery. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida must be active and in good standing, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional competency in various manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Proficient in developing, implementing, and modifying successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Strong skills in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate and comprehensive documentation.
• Solid understanding of and commitment to evidence-based physical therapy practices and continuous education.

Preferred Experience

• Previous hands-on experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment is preferred.
• Proven track record of success in patient outcomes and rehabilitation effectiveness.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
