Key Responsibilities

You will play a vital role in patient care through the following responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations and diagnoses.
• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Educate patients and their families about effective exercise programs, wellness strategies, and postoperative rehabilitation care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Actively collaborate with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and maintain a safe, ethical practice environment that prioritizes patient safety and comfort.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will primarily focus on treating patients recovering from a variety of orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy will enable you to design targeted interventions that cater to each patient's unique circumstances, enhancing their functional abilities and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Strong skillset in creating and adjusting rehabilitation plans specific to orthopedic diagnoses.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, essential for building rapport with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

While the primary requirement is a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree in physical therapy or a related field can enhance your candidacy. Compensation and Benefits
