This remote opportunity is designed for an experienced technology consultant who enjoys solving complex customer challenges through technical expertise and strategic guidance. The role focuses on implementing, configuring, and optimizing enterprise software solutions while helping customers achieve measurable business outcomes. The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, collaborating with stakeholders to design integrations, improve adoption, and deliver high-quality solutions. This position combines consulting, architecture, problem-solving, and customer engagement in a global environment. Accountabilities:

The Senior Technical Consultant will provide technical leadership throughout customer engagements, supporting solution implementation, integration, enablement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Analyze customer requirements and translate business needs into detailed technical specifications and solution designs.
• Work closely with customer subject matter experts to implement and configure cloud and on-premises solutions from project initiation through completion.
• Support customers transitioning from traditional on-premises environments to modern SaaS-based solutions.
• Design and develop integrations between enterprise solutions and third-party systems using appropriate technologies and methodologies.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, implementation guides, and project deliverables.
• Deliver solution enablement sessions, product training, and knowledge transfer activities for customers and partners.
• Support project scoping, service definition, and effort estimation activities.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and introduce innovative approaches to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong delivery standards and customer satisfaction.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders by providing technical expertise, recommendations, and problem-solving support.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have extensive consulting experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• 8+ years of experience working as a technical consultant within the IT industry.
• Proven experience implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise software solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly.
• Consultative mindset with strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Self-driven approach with the ability to troubleshoot issues, research solutions, and work independently.
• Experience contributing to multiple projects in parallel within customer-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of advanced data architectures, application architectures, networking concepts, and IT security principles.
• Experience with ETL processes using APIs, flat files, or databases.
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
• Ability to read, write, and modify Transact-SQL.
• Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of software deployment, discovery, and inventory solutions.
• Expertise with Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Internet Information Services.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with IT and Software Asset Management platforms or related enterprise management tools.
• Experience with Cloud Management Platforms and cloud optimization solutions.
• Ability to create reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools such as IBM Cognos, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Industry certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, or FinOps certifications.
• Understanding of virtualization technologies including VMware, XenApp, XenDesktop, or App-V.
• Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
