The Senior Technical Consultant is a customer advocate working closely with other Veeva teams (Services, Product, Sales, Strategy) to ensure customer success today and in the future.This is a remote, full-time permanent role with Veeva. Qualified U.S.- and Canada-based applicants who are in close proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements are encouraged to apply.What You'll DoProvide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Systems implementation, Vault R&D product suite, Vault Platform, technical design, and Software as a Service (SaaS) implementation best practicesDesign and implement cloud-based integrationsDesign and provide subject matter expertise for the development of custom applicationsImplement Java-based solutions using the Vault Java SDKManage integration and development projects and resourcesContribute to our professional services knowledge baseDevelop internal and external tools to help our customers and our consultantsPartner with other parts of the organization to deliver technical presentations to current and prospective customers to evangelize the value of Veeva’s solution.Requirements7+ years of experience with integration architecture, design, and development for enterprise/cloud software (Salesforce.com, PeopleSoft, Oracle, Siebel, SAP, Workday, etc.) or document/content management systems (Documentum, OpenText, SharePoint, etc.)7+ years of customer-facing technical consulting experience5+ years of development experience with one of the following languages – Java, .NET, Python, C#, or C++Experience building solutions and interfaces in the cloud, SaaS applications using REST APIsProven track record meeting with senior management and executives as the subject matter expertExperience leading and mentoring team membersExcellent presentation skillsExperience with SDLC processAbility to articulate integration design patternsAbility to travel up to 10%Must be both located in and legally authorized to be employed in the United States or CanadaNice to HaveExperience in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industryExperience with Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, or Safety business processesProject Management experience for enterprise software implementationsExperience with GxP regulations and software validation processDocument/Data migration experienceProduct Manager experienceExperience with source code control systemsAmazon Web Services (AWS) tools such as Lambda and EC2Interviewing with VeevaWe value your time and believe in a transparent hiring process.
