Patient Transporter - Full-Time Evenings Lawrence

Position Summary: Patient Assistance Liaison, Full-Time 32 Hours Per Week. Evenings 3 pm to 11:30 pm. Lawrence campus

The Patient Transporter assists patients with transfer between different areas of the hospital for testing, admission, discharge, or other reasons. Also distributes equipment and supplies to appropriate departments.

• Assists patients of varying mobility using transfer techniques and/or lifting devices, when needed

• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and ensures it is stored properly

• Communicates relevant information effectively to hospital departments and management

• Works closely with nursing to maintain patient safety

Minimum Qualifications:

Required: High school diploma or equivalent, prior medical and/or customer service experience preferred
