Accounting Manager

Trueline's client, a stable and growing privately held business backed by a well-established global organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its team in Cedar Park, Texas. What You'll Do as the Accounting Manager: Own the month-end close process and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting operations across the business Manage and support two direct reports focused on accounts payable and accounts receivable Review reconciliations, journal entries, account activity, and other key accounting work Maintain strong internal controls and help improve accounting processes over time Partner closely with leadership and serve as a trusted accounting resource for the organization Identify opportunities to make processes more efficient, accurate, and scalable Take on additional projects and areas of responsibility over time based on your interests and strengths Must-Haves as the Accounting Manager: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong hands-on experience owning or playing a significant role in month-end close Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting Experience overseeing or mentoring accounting staff Ability to work independently and take ownership of the accounting function Strong attention to detail with the judgment to understand the bigger business picture Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in learning, improving, and taking on new challenges Comfortable working primarily onsite in Cedar Park Nice-to-Haves as the Accounting Manager: CPA Public accounting experience Experience in a privately held, distribution, manufacturing, or similarly operational business Previous Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or Assistant Controller experience Interest in expanding beyond traditional accounting responsibilities over time Our Client Offers: Base salary of approximately $135,000-$155,000, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate A true 8-5 work schedule with little to no expected overtime Strong work-life balance and a lower-stress environment Generous paid time off A stable, established organization with the resources of a much larger global business A small-team environment where your work is visible and valued Direct exposure to company leadership The opportunity to shape your role and broaden your responsibilities as you grow Long-term career opportunities within a larger global organization Some flexibility over time for the right person, while this role is primarily onsite Trueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
