Eagle Lake Elementary School has an opening for the Secretary to the Principal starting in November 2026. This is a full-time, 10-month position with a 204-day work year plus 9 paid holidays. This position is Classification B22 on the Mankato Educational Secretaries Association salary schedule.

Summary of Duties: This role provides direct administrative support to the Principal while keeping the front office running smoothly day to day. Responsibilities include: serving as a key communication link between the school, families, and community; overseeing daily front office operations, managing building calendars, and maintaining confidential student and personnel records; managing our student information system, including assisting with daily attendance and logistics; processing financial building orders, purchasing, and supporting budget administration; and supporting the administrative team and helping coordinate elementary events and activities.

Qualifications: Excellent human relations, people, and communication skills. Strong time management skills and computer proficiency, with a willingness to learn technical systems needed to perform duties.

Salary Range: $23.35 - $24.77 per hour
