Graduation from an accredited nursing program is necessary. A valid Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided is required. Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications are mandatory.Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field. Two years of recent ICU nursing experience is preferred. NIH Stroke Scale Certificate is preferred. CCRN certification is also preferred.
