This role is ideal for a creative and analytical social media professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail-focused environment. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the organic social media strategy for a major retail client, ensuring each platform is leveraged to its fullest potential. Your expertise will guide the differentiation of content across platforms, and you will play a key role in integrating social media into broader campaign initiatives. You will collaborate closely with creative teams, provide actionable insights through reporting, and drive the optimization of social assets to maximize engagement and campaign effectiveness.
Deliverables
- Develop and implement a comprehensive organic social media strategy tailored to retail objectives.
- Provide platform-specific recommendations and differentiation strategies for content.
- Oversee intake reporting, analyze performance data, and apply optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure social assets align with campaign goals and brand voice.
- Offer forward-thinking perspectives on integrating social media into current and future campaigns.
- Plan and oversee the production of social assets for upcoming initiatives.
- Maintain accountability for testing, learning, and generating innovative ideas to enhance social presence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media strategy, preferably within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn) and their unique content requirements.
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working alongside creative and marketing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Creative mindset with a passion for staying ahead of social media trends and best practices.
- Experience with social media management and analytics tools is highly desirable.
- Availability for remote collaboration, with flexibility to accommodate project timelines.
