Job Description
Title: RN - ICU (Oncology)

Schedule:
- Shift pattern: Must confirm shift on submittal (e.g., 3x12, 4x12)
- Weekend requirement: every other weekend

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36/week (can sign for 36 or 48 hrs/week)

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS
- Epic experience required
- Must pass Relias EKG exam

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and health status, including dysrhythmia recognition.
- Administer medications, IVs, and blood products as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Perform phlebotomy and manage central/PICC lines as needed.
- Educate patients and families about health management post-discharge.

Compliance / Notes:
- Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed first week.
- Documentation due by 3 PM CST on the Monday before start.
- Must obtain necessary licensure prior to starting.
- Fit testing may be required; facial hair must allow for proper fit testing.
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
